💚🌱 Doing some stuff with my life 🌱💚
I'm remaking my website because i dont want to pay for squarespace anymore, i dont care about looking overly professional, but i'd rather not lose all the information about credits and talks and my career that i had on my old website.
I've been having a bit of a think about work and such over the past while and i'm not interested in pursuing the games industry as a primary career anymore. I've been there for 10 years and burned out far too many times. I'm still pretty damn proud of everything i did accomplish in my career in games and I'd like to keep all those things documented. I could be interested in editing VO from time to time if the project is right because i know that i'm damn good at it. I just dont want to keep defining myself exclusively in terms of my games career. The industry is currently on fire anyway and there's still quite a lot of unheathy habits normalized in games spaces (crunch, overworking for the passion of it, lack of boundaries with work and life, etc). I've also noticed a pretty unhealthy habit of my own, defining myself exclusively in terms of marketable skills. I still catch myself defining myself as a "Sound Designer" before all else. So maybe lets take a look at the other things I'm passionate about, whether or not they make money (^_^)

CALENDAR
I've been trying to figure out exactly what career path I want to follow yet, and whatever I do next will probably have something to do with concerts. Lately I've been learning a lot about lighting and volunteering all over the city as a light tech. I also occasionally book shows, I know how to do live sound but I prefer to only be support on that end of things, and I've done plenty of stage hand and similar tasks.
RIP GAMEDEV
I've worked 10 years in the field as a sound designer and voice over director/editor and i want to keep track of all the cool things i've done. I'm still interested in Voice over directing and editing for the right projects so check out my credits and talks
ACTIVISM
I want to share literature and links to things that radicalized me and i'm involved in, just gotta brainstorm first. For now go check out DukOp.dk and Radar.Squat.net
KILL SOCIAL MEDA
I think i'm addicted to instagram a little bit. Mostly the reels but I also really like posting as if it were a scrapbook, so if I can make my own lil scrapbook then maybe it might stop me from even looking at the site in the first place. maybe. anyway heres:
